A nearly perfectly centered and superb mint LH single of the 20c deep brownish vermilion special delivery stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Horizontal wove paper with no visible mesh and brownish yellow gum with a semi-gloss sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1933-1934. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $100. Undercatalogued, as only 600,000 were issued between 1932 and 1935. Also, examples that are nearly perfectly centered, such as this are extremely scarce, given the low print quantity and are worth more than the Unitrade price for VF. The stamp offered here grades SUP-98 LH as follows: Margins/centering: 68/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
