Canada #BK55a (SG#SB60) 25c Centennial Booklet Bright Blue DF/DF Covers LF-fl Pane VF-80 NH

A well centered and very fine NH example the 25c Centennial Issue stapled booklet containing 1 pane of 5 5c stamps, with bright blue Centennial cover. Both the front and back covers are printed on smooth card stock, and give a greyish white reaction under UV light, with no fluorescent fibres visible in the stock. The pane is printed on horizontal wove cream paper with smooth, yellowish cream coloured dextrose gum that has a semi-gloss sheen. The pane gives a dull fluorescent greyish white reaction under UV light, with a sparse concentration of low fluorescent fibres being visible in the paper. The staple is 13 mm long and the booklet contains an interleaf between the back of the pane and the back cover. In normal light, and under UV light, the ink is deep blue. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH booklet with the regular DF covers at $20.00, While McCann values the same booklet at $15.00. This booklet is listed in McCann as BK55c. The scans show a side-by side comparison of the dull blue, bright blue and deep bright blue covers which are found on these booklets. The booklet offered here grades 80 as follows:
