Canada #539ii (SG#681) 1971 6c Multicoloured 1971 Papineau Death Centenary Issue LF/LF-fl, LF, MD Paper VF-80 NH
A well centered and very fine NH single of the 6c L.J Papineau death Centenary Issue from 1971. Printed on horizontal wove paper showing no ribbing or mesh and giving a low fluorescent light violet reaction under ultraviolet light on the face, and a low fluorescent bluish white reaction on the back, with a medium density concentration of low fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. This is what Unitrade lists as F/MF . Comb perforated 12.5 x 12.0. Smooth, creamy PVA gum with a satin sheen. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $3.50. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:
