Canada #471 (SG#613) 5c 1967 Royal Visit DFBW Paper Satin Cream Gum VF-84 NH

A very well centered and very fine mint NH single of the 5c brown orange and purple 1967 Royal Visit Issue. Line perf. 11.85 x 11.95. Horizontal wove paper with no ribbing, or visible mesh, and smooth cream DEX gum with a satin sheen. Under ultraviolet light, the paper gives a dull fluorescent bluish white reaction, with no fluorescent fibres being visible in the paper. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single on the normal dull paper at $0.35. This is a scarcer variation of the dull paper. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 NH as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
