Canada #347 (SG#470) 4c Deep Purple Violet Wilding Issue Coil DF Gr. Ribbed Paper - VF-80 NH

A well centered and very fine NH single of the 4c deep purple violet Queen Elizabeth II coil stamp from the 1954 Wilding Issue. Printed on smooth vertical wove paper that shows light vertical ribbing on the gum and giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. Smooth and shiny yellowish cream coloured gum. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $2. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:
