Canada #338p (SG#464p) 2c Green 1954 Wilding Issue W2B DF Greyish Ribbed Paper VF-80 NH

A well centered and very fine NH example of the 2c green Winnipeg Tagged Queen Elizabeth II stamp from the 1954 Wilding Issue. The stamp is printed on vertical wove paper giving a dull-fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light and showing light vertical ribbing on the gum. The tagging is moderately applied, being clearly visible to the naked eye, but not dark. Smooth yellowish cream coloured gum. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $1.75. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:
