A very well centered and very fine mint LH pair of the 1c deep myrtle green King George V bas-relief rotary press coil stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Horizontal wove paper with no visible mesh and deep cream gum with visible horizontal streaks and a semi-gloss sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1933-1934. 3 mm spacing between stamp impressions. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG pair at $40. However, pairs that are this well centered are scarce and are worth more than the Unitrade price for VF. The pair offered here grades VF-79 LH as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 5/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
