A nearly perfectly centered and superb mint LH single of the 1c deep myrtle green King George V bas-relief rotary press coil stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Horizontal wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with visible horizontal streaks and a semi-gloss sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1933-1934. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $20. However, examples that are this well centered are very, very hard to find. Our price consequently reflects this. The stamp offered here grades SUP-98 LH as follows: Margins/centering: 68/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
