A very well centered and very fine mint OG single of the 1c deep myrtle green King George V bas-relief rotary press coil stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Horizontal wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with visible horizontal streaks and a semi-gloss sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1933-1934. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $20. However, examples that are this well centered are very elusive, and are worth more than the Unitrade price for VF. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 OG as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. We currently have four stamps in stock in this shade, gum type and grade. You will receive one of the above stamps of your choice.
