A very well centered and very fine mint OG single of the 8c deep red orange King George V bas-relief stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Vertical wove paper with fine vertical mesh and mottled deep brownish yellow gum with a semi-gloss sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1932-1933. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $65. However, examples that are this well centered are scarce on this issue and are worth more than the Unitrade price for very fine. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 OG as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
