A very well centered and very fine mint LH single of the 4c pale yellow brown King George V bas-relief stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with a satin sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1934-1935. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $80. However, examples that are this well centered are scarce, and consequently they are much more than the Unitrade price for very fine. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 OG as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. We currently have two stamps in stock in this shade and grade. You will receive one of the above stamps of your choice.
