A very well centered and very fine mint NH single of the 2c blackish brown King George V bas-relief rotary press stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with barely visible vertical streaks and a semi-gloss sheen, suggesting that it is from a printings made sometime in 1933-34. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $4. However, examples that are this well centered are difficult to find and are worth more than the Unitrade price for VF. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 NH as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. We currently have two stamps in stock in this shade and grade. You will receive one of the above stamps of your choice.
