A very well centered and very fine mint NH single of the 1c myrtle green King George V bas-relief flat plate stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with a satin sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime in 1933. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $12.00. However, examples that are this well centered are difficult to find and are worth more than the Unitrade price for VF. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 NH as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. We currently have eight stamps in stock in this shade and grade. You will receive one of the above stamps of your choice. The fifth stamp from the top has since sold, but the others are still available.
