A nearly perfectly centered and superb mint NH single of the 1c myrtle green King George V bas-relief flat plate stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and yellowish cream gum with a glossy sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime in 1933. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH single at $12.00. However, examples that are this well centered are very elusive, and consequently our price reflects the scarcity of the stamp in such a superlative grade. The stamp offered here grades SUP-98NH as follows: Margins/centering: 68/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. We currently have three stamps in stock in this shade and grade. You will receive one of the above stamps of your choice.
