A well centered and very fine mint LH example of the 20c brownish vermilion Harvesting Wheat stamp from the 1930-1935 Arch Issue, with jumbo margins. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and cream gum with a glossy sheen, which suggests it is a printing from 1933-1934. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $70. However, examples with margins like this are very scarce, and are worth a significant premium. The stamp offered here grades VF-80-J OG as follows: Margins/centering: 50/70 (jumbo) Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. .
