Canada #117a (SG#253) 10c Deep Dull Blue 1911-27 Admiral Issue Dry Printing VF-78 OG

A well centered and very fine mint OG example of the 10c deep dull blue (blue in Unitrade), dry printing Admiral stamp from the 1911-1928 Admiral Issue. Printed on white vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and measuring 0.004" thick. The gum is a smooth shiny cream, characteristic of the early dry printings from 1923-1925. 2016 Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $70. The stamp offered here grades 78 as follows:
