The first cover is a $3.09 cover, with an unclear date, but likely in 1989, as it is less than the $3.48 cover that was sent in January 1990. This cover is franked with the $1 and $2, plus singles of the 1c, 2c and 6c. The $1 on this cover has the thin green header above the door and dotted bricks, with the black inscriptions, while the $2 is printed in the richer, less red orange and has the deeper green trim on the building. The second cover is franked with the $1, $2, and singles of the 45c pronghorn, perf. 14.4 x 13.8 and the 3c muskrat. It is noted on this cover that the rate of $3.48 was the third weight step for a cover with no indemnity. The $1 on this cover is as the last cover, but the $2 has the lighter green trim on the building, but is also printed in the richer orange. One $2 stamp has a tear, but overall these are F-VF covers.
