Canada #109 (SG#248) 3c Scarlet Admiral Issue Die 1, Paper With No Mesh 0.004" Thick VF-78 LH

A well centered and very fine mint OG LH example of the 3c scarlet (carmine in Unitrade), die 1 Admiral stamp from the 1911-1928 Admiral Issue. Printed on white vertical wove paper showing no visible mesh, and measuring 0.0040" thick. The gum is a smooth, satin cream. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $30. The stamp offered here grades 78 as follows:
