Canada #107a (SG#247b) 2c Deep Green 1911-1928 Admiral Issue Thin Paper VF-84 LH

A very well centered and very fine OG LH example of the 2c deep green (yellow green in Unitrade), wet printing Admiral stamp on the so called "thin paper" from the 1911-1928 Admiral Issue. Printed on white vertical wove paper showing coarse vertical mesh, and measuring 0.0035" thick. So although Unitrade lists this paper as thin, it is actually not any thinner than the normal paper - it only appears so because of the extremely coarse weave and the dark green colour, which shows clearly through the back. The gum is smooth, shiny cream. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $30. The stamp offered here grades 84 as follows:
