Canada #977 (SG#1084) $2 1983 Commonwealth Day Issue Sealed Pack of Corner Blocks DF-fl VF-80 NH

A well centered and very fine NH example of the $2 multicolured 1983 Commonwealth Day stamp, in a post office sealed pack of inscription blocks of 4. Printed on smooth, Abitibi Price paper (APP) giving a dull fluorescent reaction under ultraviolet light, on the face, and a dull fluorescent reaction on the back, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres, and a very sparse concentration of brown woodpulp fibres. This paper is a variant of the DF paper listed in Unitrade. The card stock in the pack has the light blue Canada Post logo and is on low fluorescent stock. Smooth cream PVA gum with the usual satin sheen. 2017 Unitrade values a VF-75 NH block set at $250. The pack offered here grades 80.
