Canada #96 (SG#188) 1/2c Brown Black Quebec Tercentenary Coarse Mesh Paper SUP-96 OG LH

An almost perfectly centered and superb mint OG LH example of the 1/2c brown black Prince and Princess of Wales stamp from the 1908 Quebec Tercentenary Issue. Printed on vertical wove paper showing coarse vertical mesh. The gum is a smooth, shiny yellowish cream. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG example at $15. However, stamps from this issue that grade higher than this are much, much scarcer and command significant premiums as the grade approaches 100. A superb example like this is worth many multiples of this value, as it is almost never found this well centered. The stamp offered here grades 96 as follows:
