Four very fine fine mint NH singles of the 5c deep blue & deep bright blue precancelled fishing village stamps from the 1967-1973 Centennial Issue, each on a different paper, or with a different gum or printed in a different shade of blue: Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh. The four varieties are as follows:
  • Deep blue on paper giving a high fluorescent bluish white reaction under UV, with no fluorescent fibres visible in the paper, and with streaky creamy dextrose gum having a satin sheen.
  • Deep blue on paper giving a medium fluorescent bluish white reaction with no fluorescent fibres visible in the paper, and smooth, creamy dextrose gum with a semi-gloss sheen.
  • Deep blue on paper giving a medium fluorescent bluish white reaction with no fluorescent fibres visible in the paper, and streaky, creamy dextrose gum with a semi-gloss sheen.
  • Deep bright blue on paper giving a dull fluorescent light violet reaction with very sparse concentrations of low and medium fluorescent fibres visible in the paper, and white PVA gum with an eggshell sheen.
The ink colour of the first three stamps under UV is black, while the fourth stamp is dark blue. Unitrade values four VF-75 NH singles at $2.50.
