Canada #505 (SG#647) 1970 6c Manitoba Centennial Issue Rose Craft First Day Cove XF-85

An extremely fine example of the 6c violet blue, red and deep yellow 1970 Mannitoba Centennial Issue First Day Cover. Black and white Rose Craft cachet depicting the provincial legislature and Fort Garry. The envelope is on stock giving a high fluorescent reaction under ultraviolet light, while the stamps are printed on paper giving a non fluorescent light violet reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamps are tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa straight line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades XF-86 as follows:
