Errors, Freaks and Oddities
Stamps which exhibit various errors that have occurred during printing. Some errors are errors of design, while other freak occurrences, such as gross mis-alignment of perforations, double perforations, portions of the design missing, ink smudges and so forth are usually referred to as "freaks". These add a nice bit of "spice" to an existing collection.
