Canada #399 (SG#525) 1962 5c Victoria Centenary Issue Rosecraft First Day Cover XF-85

An extremely fine example of the 5c deep scarlet and black 1962 Victoria Centenary Issue First Day Cover. Rose Craft Cachet in black, showing parliament buildings. The envelope is on hibrite stock, while the stamp is printed on paper giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamp is tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa wavy line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades XF-85 as follows:
