A fine NH strip of 4 of the 2c green Queen Elizabeth II coil stamp from the 1954 Wilding Issue. Printed on smooth vertical wove paper that shows light vertical ribbing on the gum and which gives a dull-fluorescent greyish white reaction under ultraviolet light, with a very, very sparse concentration of low, medium, high fluorescent and hibrite fibres. This is one of the papers that Unitrade refers to as fluorescent. The spacing between the stamp impressions is 4 mm, 4 mm and 4 mm. Streaky, shiny cream coloured gum. Unitrade values a VF-75 strip at $40. The strip offered here grades F-65 as follows:

Centering/margins: 40/70

Paper freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 5/10

Note: the above scan is a stock photo as are all my scans for material after 1952. The item(s) you will receive has (have) been carefully checked to adhere to the above grading standards, so while it (they) may not be exactly the same, it (they) will be of the same quality. Also, I do not provide back scans of NH stamps or blocks after 1952 unless they are required to illustrate some attribute of the paper of gum.
