Two well centered and very fine NH examples of the 4c bluish violet Queen Elizabeth II stamp from the 1954-63 Wilding Issue, in a plate 11 lower right (LR) blocks of 4. Printed on horizontal wove paper showing mesh only when held up to the light and giving a dull fluorescent greyish white reaction under ultraviolet light. Smooth, satin yellowish gum, similar to that found on many of the 1957 and 1958 commemorative issues. One of the blocks has the usual position dot under the "C" of "Canadian", while the other does not. Unitrade values VF-75 NH blocks at $28.80. The blocks offered here grade 80 as follows:

Centering/margins:50/70

Paper freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10

Note: the above scan is a stock photo as are all my scans for material after 1952. The item(s) you will receive has (have) been carefully checkedto adhere to the above grading standards, so while they may not be exactly the same, they will be of the same quality. Also, I do not provide back scans of NH stamps or blocks after 1952 unless they are required to illustrate some attribute of the paper of gum.
